Hello!
This is me. I am 23-years-old and I am now postgraduate PhD. student of software engineering at FEI STU. I live in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, since my birth, 30 of July 1976. I live with my mother, Daniela Durackova only. I have no brother nor sister.

I attended lower level of primary school at Sibirska street, the higher level at Vazovova street, specialized in mathematics. When I was 13-years-old, we bought a new flat at Devinska Nova Ves. General high school I attended at Bilikova street. Final exam I have passed with the best at mathematics, informatics, physics and Slovak language too. Then I was accepted at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak Technical University, where I study at present time. I started study at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (University of Komensky) at the same time, because I couldn't make decision which University is better for me. Finally I (as you can see) chose FEI STU. At the third term at STU I tried to study also at Faculty of Economical Informatics (University of Economy), but I found out that it is low quality school and I prefer to earn some money instead.

At holidays after first year of study I found a job for myself. I work as a programmer for Finsat Ltd. This firm provided satellite based financial and stock exchange information system. Nine months later, at april 1996, I left Finsat and begun work for West Ost Connection Ltd, branch of Assyst GmBH. I worked there since april as a programmer with UNIX (HP-UX) and Motif. One year later I have decided to finish my work there and concentrate to school. But in May 1997 I got offer from GraTex International and I worked there as developer in C/C++ for Windows NT platform for a more then one and half year.

At the end of 1998 I left Gratex and immediately in January 1999 I've established my own business as a self-employed software developer and consultant. Now I am working on an invoice-base for some software/web companies. My most interesting projects were software systems for internet issue of daily newspapers Národná Obroda and Hospodárske Noviny

Since high school I am interested in computers and programming. Together with my friend "Ucho"we learnt Prolog programming language, that fascinates us very much. We have a great idea to allow computer to understand natural language, at our case Slovak language. That was the primary impulse for me to start a T3man project, that is still under construction but now it is based on Perl programming language. Firstly I wrote programs in BASIC, Prolog, assembler and Pascal. Later I bought my first computer (IBM clone 286) and I have learnt C++ and OOP. Two years later I bought 80486 computer and now I have Pentium at home. But nevertheless change of machines, Prolog stays my favorite language, although it's not good for writing commercial applications, at work I have to use C/C++ (that is my second favorite). Now the scale of my abilities is higher, lot of experiences I obtained at my occupations. I worked a lot with databases at Finsat, also some Windows programming I performed there. At WOC I have learnt X windows / Motif programming. Gratex was the most interesting work with the newest technologies like COM/DCOM, SQL Server 7 etc. Later I have learnt XML, Java and lot of others technologies.

Since February 1997 I am a member of MENSA Slovakia.

In 1998 I took a bachelor's degree in informatics, so I can now sign up Bc. Marek Trabalka, fine, isn't it?
